Seahawks 33 - Cardinals 19

Do you remember the years we had as Seahawks fans when we weren't sure if we could find the end zone? When times were so hard that an objective of the game was simply finding the end zone and putting up 7 points no matter how many points the other team came up with?

Do you remember the years we had as Seahawks fans when we sat on the edge of our chair during a run, hoping against all hope that the running back wouldn't fumble the ball?

Do you remember in recent years all the media attention whenever a receiver dropped a pass? When our quarterback didn't have protection? When our tight ends were seemingly a non-factor?

Doesn't it feel GREAT to have confidence in our men?!?!?!?

There have been many years when I've believed in our team, only to be let down time and time again, but this year is different. This year I'm seeing positive after positive after positive. This year I'm seeing the depth we've heard about for years. I'm seeing leadership and unity on the field and on the sidelines. This year I'm seeing support for teammates and ethusiasm between teammates, even among players who weren't in on a particular play.

And what I've seen in the last two games that has thrilled me to no end is some praise for the players by Coach Holmgren, and some enthusiasm on his face after a good play and a victory! Maybe it's been there all along, but it's not caught on film very often and I'm finally seeing it! I don't know what Holmgren was saying to Shaun Alexander after his touchdown run but it's just so good to see him going over to him to have a word!

This was "only" Arizona, but let's remember that Arizona was supposed to be the team to beat in our division this season. They have their share of problems, but in the past we didn't always take advantage of even a struggling team. And let's remember that we have beat the bye-week bugaboo.

Things are happening for Seattle this year! I've got that nervous/excited feeling in my stomach!!!
