I have higher hopes for this team than any other team I’ve been on in the (15 years) I’ve been here. -- Mack Strong

Best, Worst, Most Absurd And the winner is ...
The NetworksThey didn't think we'd have an exciting enough game, so they moved us out of the evening slot. That was a dumb thing to do, now wasn't it?!
Game BallTo Jennings for coming back from his injury only to layout on a tackle that probably REALLY hurt!
Way to go, Holmgren!Love the call to go for it on 4th down, love the passing play that was selected. NICE JOB!
Welcome backIt's great to see Branch back on the field again!
KerneyThere may be nothing sweeter than three sacks on the opposing QB by one guy!

1st and 10 – Pass to Engram for a short gain.
2nd and 8 – NICE run by Mo! First down and more! 13 yards! Does Shaun have makeup on?!?! It looks like he’s wearing eyeliner! And he’s in a much better white hoodie today!
1st and 10 - Hass to pass, goes long to a Bear! Luckily it goes incomplete.
2nd and 10 – Hass in touble, throws out of bounds but Heller catches it and makes a nice play. VERY nice job to Heller! I like it.
3rd and 3 – What is that funny hand signal Matt is making?! It’s like he’s making faces with his hands! Whistles. Time-out Chicago. I like Lovey Smith, for the record.
3rd and 3 – Pass to Branch and he bobbles it out of bounds. That pass was a bullet. The announcers are saying it’s timing between QB and WR.
4th and 3 – Field goal is no good from 44 yards.

1st and 10 – Running play; Mebane made the tackle. We finally made a tackle!
2nd and 9 – NICE pressure on the QB, nice tackle causing the receiver to drop the ball. Rocky Bernard tried to get up and tumbled back down. I don’t know if he’s woozy or what. He’s getting up and walking off the field.

4th and 9 – Bears will punt. Engram back to receive instead of Burleson. Grrrr. I don’t like that. Anyway, it goes into the end zone for a touchback.

*** END OF QUARTER ***

3rd and 5 – Whistles blow before the play. No foul for delay of game. Time out Seattle. They say that Seattle is the least penalized team in the league.
3rd and 5 – Shotgun. Hass has time and throws into the ground. That was dumb.
4th and 5 – Punt rolls out of bounds at the 5 yard line. Nice.

1st and 10 for the Bears – I didn’t see the ball but there was a loss on the play.
2nd and 10 – Maybe not, they’re still calling it
2nd and 10 . Benson to run and he gets a handful of yards.

1st and 10 for the Seahawks – Hass to run with it. Picks up 5.
2nd and 5 – Just got that one off before the clock expired, then pressure came and Hass had to throw it away. They’re sure putting a lot of pressure on Hass.

1st and 10 – BIG hole for Morris and there’s a TOUCHDOWN! SWEEEET! I like the way the players are celebrating with him! Everyone seems happy for him! By the way, lots of players on the sidelines are wearing white jackets. Not just Shaun. PAT is good.

1st and 10 – Sorry, I missed the play talking about Hass!
2nd and 7 – The Bears are knocking on the door.
3rd and 1 – Touchdown Bears. This is a high scoring game. We just let them through on that one. Hmpf.

:17 left in the half.

Bears kick off to the Hawks and Burleson runs it out to mid field. Sweet!

1st and 10 for the Seahawks – Pass to Hackett for 9 yards.
2nd and 1 – Mo to run and he doesn’t get the first down. He probably lost a yard.
3rd and 1 – Mo to run again and I don’t think he got it again. Looks like they’ll measure. We’re short by a foot.

1st and 10 – Hass to pass. Has the touch. NICE pass to Hackett for a first down.
1st and goal – High snap. Bad pass. Not even sure who that was for. Incomplete.
2nd and goal – Mo to run hard for a nice gain.

3rd and 14 – Grossman to pass. Not on target.
4th and 14 – Has there been a momentum swing? Burleson fields the punt but there’s nowhere to go with it.

1st and 10 for the Seahawks - Hass is pressured, runs, tackled from behind and loses the ball. Chicago recovers but there are flags. That was UGLY. Holding on us. Chicago just got the ball.

1st and 10 for the Bears – Grossman goes long and throws incomplete but there’s a flag. Pass interference on Trufant? Illegal contact on Trufant.
1st and 10 – Bears to run hard – took a few tacklers to bring him down.

2nd and 17 – Oh my gosh, what a great pass by the Bears. I can’t believe it. What a great catch.
1st and 10 – That was a beautiful one handed catch while Grossman took a huge hit. That was magic.

2nd and 12 – Hass to Heller for a nice pickup.
3rd and 5 – Hass in trouble, runs wide, throws to Hackett and he’s … out of bounds. Rats.

Holmgren has thrown the challenge flag. I don’t think he’ll win. The camera angle isn’t conclusive. I think he was probably out anyway. Yep, they rule him out.

3:30 left in the game.

3rd and 11 – Pressure, pass, complete but not near the first down.

*** TWO MINUTE WARNING ***

2nd and 12 – Mo to run. Little if any gain.
3rd and 10 – Hass to hand off to Mo. That was dumb. We were more concerned with taking time off the clock than trying to get a first down? I don’t like that play calling.
4th and 10 – We punted out of bounds to keep the ball out of the hands of Hester.

1st and 10 for the Bears – Gross man has time. Runs into a wall. Kerney gets him for the 3rd time today!
2nd and 15 – Grossman to pass. Has time. Scrambles. Throws long, it’s caught, it’s fumbled, and the Bears recover.

1st and 10 – Grossman spiked the ball to stop the clock.
2nd and 10 - :28 left in the game. Bears are on the 35. Grossman scrambles, throws, the receiver makes a bee line for the sidelines.
3rd and 7 - :22 left in the game. Grossman to throw. Out of bounds. I thought it may have been tipped but the announcers aren’t saying so, so maybe not.
4th and 7 - :18 left in the game. 48 yard attempt and it’s good.

Seahawks 30 – Bears 23

The Bears will kick off to the Seahawks with :13 left and no timeouts. I would assume there will be an on-side kick.

The Bears tried an on-side kick. The ball went out of bounds so the Seahawks will get it. We’ll just have to take a knee and the game will be over.

The Bears have never won a game in Seattle. Odd.
