I have higher hopes for this team than any other team I’ve been on in the (15 years) I’ve been here. -- Mack Strong

What a GREAT game this was!! I just want to say thanks to everyone who helped make this a terrific Game Day event!!! Special thanks to Cris and his family for the awesome tailgate spread, and to Moses and his best friend for taking time to seek us out, and to Jan and Tony, my dear friends, for transporting me everywhere I wanted to go, always open for adventure! What a great day!

Our morning started around 10am when we met up with Cris at his family's tailgate party! What a feast they prepared for us (see pics below!) The game was just terrific! We started with a touchdown right off the bat and of course I thought we'd win the game by at least 50 points. That certainly was not meant to be. It came right down to the wire and we have to be grateful to Shaun Alexander for a fourth down carry that gave us the opportunity to score the game winning touchdown!!

One of the topics of discussion about this game seems to be the booing from the crowd. Yeah, there was some. Seattle fans are SO impatient with Alexander! I haven't looked at the stats yet but I've heard he had a 100+ yard rushing game, and yet fans are so quick to boo. Grrrr.

Fans also booed the play calling of Coach Holmgren. Pffft. Who cares?! If he called the plays we wanted to hear, we may as well put Efren Herrera, who incidentally was honored at half time of the game, back into the game! (Trick plays, for anyone who may not remember.) My only complaint with Holmgren in this game was some iffy clock management; otherwise I thought he called a good game.

Bottom line is that we won the game while all our division oppponents lost their games! GO SEAHAWKS!!!
