    Bump In The Road!

We'll have to get back to Seattle and re-group a little for our big divisional game vs. the 49'ers on ESPN. We might meet theses guys again before the season is over. It's gonna be an exciting and thrilling season, and this was just a little bump in the road. Come along for the ride!
    GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!

I really thought we had Green Bay dead to rights. They were a bit dinged up and we were coming off of a bye week.

Let me be depressed for the rest of the day (must have been all of that cheese) and I promise I'll be along for the ride come the 12th!!

    MOSES PREDICTS GAME FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by MOSES on 10/3/2003, 7:11 pm

HAIL TO THEE, O SEAHAWK FANS!!!!! IT IS I, MOSES, HERE TO PREDICT THE SEAHAWK/ slackers GAME!!!!!!

LAST WEEK: Oh, to be undefeated in October!!!! WE ARE 3-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, who woulda thunk that our beloved Seahawks would stroll into week five of the NATIONAL…FOOTBALL… LEAGUE… undefeated? Things have DEFINITELY changed in the Pacific Northwest. This is NOT your father’s Seahawks…

    ( ring…..ring…..Oldsmobile ??? Oldsmobile ??? Please pick up the white courtesy phone….)

    BUT……..

They walk right from the easy life of a bye week into the pit of the devil this week. There are not many places that have such devoted and hardcore fans as those who reside in Lambeau Field. The Packer backers are one of the best fans in all of sports.

    BUT……..

Although they CAN be a factor, they are not on the field. The Seahawks have to be prepared to stop a Packer offense that really picked up steam Monday night against the Bears. Favre was on fire, Ahman Green was untouchable, and the defense made the Bears truly look like the BAD NEWS BEARS!

( ring…..ring….. Walter Matthau ??? Walter Matthau ??? Please pick up the white courtesy phone….)

    BUT……..

The Seahawks are 3-0, and they got there by playing GREAT team ball. The offense has been efficient if not opportunistic, and the defense has been smacking teams in the face with a new attitude and a new swagger!

( ring…..ring….. Zsa Zsa Gabor ??? Zsa Zsa Gabor??? Please pick up the white courtesy phone….)

Yes, 3-0 is a place the Seahawks have not been since 1998. Remember 1998? SURE you do! Well, if you DON’T, maybe this week's top three will remind you !

So, here from our office SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME comes……….. (drum roll)….

“THE TOP THREE QUOTES OF 1998”

    3. “Mark McGwire hit 70 homers??? NO ONE WILL EVER BREAK THAT RECORD!”
    2. Bill Clinton: “ I did not…. have… sexual relations with that woman.”
    1. “Hey Sonny Bono… Watch out for that…………tree…..”

THREE PLAYERS TO WATCH FOR the slackers:

    1. AHMAN GREEN: This is not the Bear run defense.
    2. KABEER GBAJA-BIAMILAHAMAMAMAHOROWITSKIVICH: His name could spell T-R-O-U-B-L-E for the Seahawk offense.
    3. THE FANS: Will they be a factor, or will they be stunned silent?

THREE PLAYERS TO WATCH FOR THE SEAHAWKS:

    1. SHAUN ALEXANDER: Poppa’s got a brand new bag. Let’s hope it’s got more than just DIAPERS in it!
    2. KOREN ROBINSON: Big players make big plays in big games on the road.
    3. JOHN RANDLE: Remember when he chased the chicken around with the Favre jersey? LIGHT UP THE GRILL!

    SO, CAN THEY DO IT?????

    MOSES PREDICTS:

    SEAHAWKS 31
    Green face slackers 21

SO LET IT BE WRITTEN, SO LET IT BE DONE!!!!!

    MOSES
