Cinnamon Pears

3 16-oz cans pear halves in juice
1 pkg (2.25 ounces) cinnamon red hots
1/4 tsp red food coloring

 
 
 
Drain liquid from pears into saucepan. Add red hots. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until candy melts. Add food coloring. Cool.

Add room temperature liquid to pears. Refrigerate overnight. Stir occasionally to ensure that all pears are coated evenly.



I never knew cinnamon pears were so easy to prepare! I tried them this Christmas and they were a hit with everyone in the family. And oh, so easy!
