Puddin' and biscuits and lollies, oh my!

One very fun part of my Australian experience with Leigh and the rest of the Schneider family has been the exchange of sweets! Lollies, candies, confectioneries...call them what you like! My daughters love honeycomb from Australia! Give them a Violet Crumble and they're in heaven! Personally I like the chocolate with caramel. I have this little game I play with Caramello Koalas to see if they come out of the package right side up or upside down! I also like the Aussie version of sugared gum drops called Sweet Hearts. Just stay away from the icky white one!

NO ONE can resist the fun of a Yowie!! (Just ask Grandma Selm about that!!)

From Tim Tams (to die for!) to Picnic Bars to Jaffas (not my favorite, sorry Jaffa fans!) to ... Gravox? Hey! That's not a lolly! The fun doesn't stop with sweets! Oh those Aussies! They actually EAT vegemite! But don't hold it against them 'cause they more than make up for it with meat pies! YUM! Oh, let's just get to it, shall we?!

Cadbury

Cadbury makes lots of yummo lollies, like Caramello Koalas (They call them kids' confectionaries but I love 'em, too!) and Picnic Bars! If you haven't heard of "drinking chocolate", you might want to have a peek!

YOWIE!!!

Yes, this is a repeat from the Colour & Oomph page but Yowies are so much fun they get double billing!! This site is fun for the kids as well!

Pudding, of course!

If you're not Australian or English, you may be surprised with this link! We're not talking the powdered stuff you add milk to and eat with a spoon! Did you have any idea that puddings are boiled?!?! ME NEITHER!

Tim Tams

Melt in your mouth, to die for COOKIES! (Oh good heavens, they are NOT biscuits!) Call them what you'd like -- I'm not a chocoholic by any means but I LOVE Tim Tams!!

Gravox

"One in every two Australian households has a Gravox product in the pantry." Hey, that's what the site says! It's popular stuff (and it's good, too!)
