Once again I wasn't able to listen to the game because it was on in the middle of my night, and once again we had a chance to win and came away with a narrow defeat. I've spent some time re-reading the reports from this season and I'm a little surprised at the number of times we've been close and let the opportunity slip away. Of course we're all feeling down because of the win/loss record but had the outcome of a few plays changed, we may not be singing the doom and gloom song.

Ah, but there will always be could haves and should haves, and we have to find a way to rise above them. Did Chaffey help in that respect?

I've read all the game reviews and I've not seen one mention of Chaffey. I have to chalk that up to another satisfactory/mediocre game for him. If he'd have blown coverage, we'd have heard about it. If he'd have been a stand out, we'd have heard about it.

Starting next week I should be able to listen to the games on a regular basis since they're afternoon games! I hope to have a lot more interesting news on Chaffey as the remainder of the season plays out! Stay tuned...!

On Chaffey a lot of people have said that he performed badly and his opponent beat him, however others have rallied to his defence and said that he actually played one of his better games for the season, but his opponent just had one of those nights and also that Chaff's rather ordinary season is not just a loss of form, but also the fact that the players arond him have not been performing either.
