Richmond 11.8.74 - Melbourne 20.11.131
Contrary to popular belief, I do not think this is the end of the world. I just don't. Yes, we lost. Yes, we've lost Nathan Brown to the season. The loss hurts; losing Brown is devastating. But have I not been saying all season that this is a TEAM effort? It's not the Nathan Brown show. He's been instrumental in the season, no doubt about that, and he'll be sorely missed. But I'm not giving up because of this lost game or one lost star.

This is the time for us to remember that many were singing the blues after the first loss of the season. We were humiliated and bounced back. We'll do well to remember that Terry Wallace has dealt with blows like this before. Let's see what he can do this time!

Have something to say? Please e-mail me! I'd love to hear from you! Please be sure to reference the Richmond Tigers in the subject line for priority mail handling! THANK YOU!

Subject: FW: Nathan Brown's injury - Not for the faint hearted

Hi Becky.....

It's been a while since I have emailed you, but I still avidly read your website.......Nathan Brown was a huge loss on the weekend, however, I completely agree with you.... the season ahead still beckons......

I have attached the pictures - not for shock value, (I apologise for how graphic they are) but as an insight as to how devastating the injury Natahn Brown has been for all RFC supporters...... and an explination as to why our collective chins may have been dropped all of this week.

Great news is that Nathan is expected to make a full recovery, and should be raring to go come season 2006....

Our spirit and passion will never die .... Bring on the Eagles this week..... and more importantly bring on September!

Keep spreading the good oil..........

Eat 'em alive!

Chris.
