Richmond 14.8.92 - Essendon 9.12.66
GO YOU TIGES!!!!!!

That may not have been the most exciting game in the world as far as the action goes, but I was digging it!!! I felt comfortable near the end of the first quarter with a 3 goal lead, and gained more confidence in the second quarter when we kicked 4 goals to Essendon's 2. With rainy weather conditions, I felt that probably was enough to bring this game home. I will admit that I didn't entirely relax, remembering all too well the last round! Even when Rex Hunt's fat lady sang in the 3rd quarter, I was still feeling a bit on the cautious side!

So we're back from our 4-game slump and still hanging in there for a chance at the finals! In terms of positioning on the ladder, we're tied for second. OK, yes, our percentage is much lower than we'd have wanted and Adelaide has yet to play this weekend, but I like where we're at. This is an exciting time!

Have something to say? Please e-mail me! I'd love to hear from you! Please be sure to reference the Richmond Tigers in the subject line for priority mail handling! THANK YOU!

Hi Becky,
I think we all do. Can you believe that 2 more wins will probably get us into the finals and 3 will make certain of it? Even if we don't win another game, though, I think Terry has done wonders with this side. Your boy Kane missed out with a knee injury, although I think he'll be back against the Saints next week. Hearing about the win last night put a smile on my Dad's face too.
Chris.
