Richmond 10.8.68 - Geelong 10.9.69
Not wanting to miss a come from behind win like I did last week, I stayed up for the duration of this game only to come sooooooooo close and yet still be on the losing end! It's frustrating to say the least.

I don't fully understand the whole bit about the 4-goal wind. Keeping in mind that I only get the Internet audion, we seemed to be very lax when the wind was not in our favor, to the point that we were strictly in defensive mode. And yet Geelong, in the same situation, still managed the occasional goal. Maybe something showed up on video that I didn't hear on audio, but I thought it was peculiar.

In any case, I still believe the season turned out better than most of us expected. I'm still a believer in Terry Wallace, though I think we need to fine tune some positions. I still believe that we're on the right path to improve in the coming year.

With a year of footy wrapped up, I invite you all to come to the other side... NFL football has begun and my beloved Seahawks have played 3 pre-season games thus far. I know that NFL is a hit and miss sport for Aussies for any number of reasons, but if you want football year round and you haven't sided with a team yet, SEA-HAWKS!!! Awesome colors! Awesome city! Awesome mascot! And a team that is perpetually on the edge of finally achieving greatness!!! :-) Go 'hawks!

Have something to say? Please e-mail me! I'd love to hear from you! Please be sure to reference the Richmond Tigers in the subject line for priority mail handling! THANK YOU!

Hi Becky,
Aaarrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! A point! One rotten, lousy point! That feels better getting that off my chest. I'm actually not that upset really. This was a side that were way ahead of us in pretty much every respect and were playing on their own dunghill and we still only got rolled by a point. The guys can feel pretty proud of how they played and what they've achieved over the season. Although this was a loss it was full of endeavour and they will go into the pre season with a lot of confidence and hope for the future.
