Welcome to the anniversary website celebrating 30 years of Seahawks football!!! I hope you'll enjoy the new features -- it's been tons of fun to put them together!

If you haven't popped into the Spirit site recently, I hope you'll have a look around. We've got a new feature there called the Unofficial A-Z of Seahawks Football with some serious research and fascinating analysis of the 1976 Seahawks. We've also recently updated the 60 Seconds with Becky feature.

Karyn, Craig, Pat, Moses and Marolyn have done outstanding jobs with training camp coverage through the years so we gave that section a new look! No pressure guys, but camp's just around the corner...! Ahem! :-)

We've updated the Seahawks Fans Hall of Fame pages to give credit where credit is long overdue! Have a look to see who this year's enshrinee is!

I hope the fun is contagious and that you can't resist sending me stories and pictures to publish! I'm still hoping someone, in honor of 30 years of Seahawks football, will come up with a list of the 30 best games, the 30 best players, the 30 best plays, the top 30 reasons to be a Seahawks fan, the 30 worst draft picks, 30 blunders, etc!

But wait! There's more!

It's not only the Seahawks 30th anniversary, it's my 10th anniversary on-line! I want to thank everyone who has stumbled across this site once or twice or a hundred times in the past 10 years. Yes! TEN YEARS! Can you believe it?! Oh, it hasn't always been called Beckys-Place -- we went through some really rough web addresses as the Internet was being born. (Remember when almost all web addresses had tildes?! Who thought that was a good idea?!) Then the small ISP's were bought out by the big dogs (midusa begat midkan begat alltel begat netspaceonline, etc.), each time prompting a change of my web address. But no matter what it was called or how many tildes were involved, we're celebrating 10 years of my presence on the web and it never would have happened if not for you!

You old-timers may recall that my site began with a one page declaration of my fanatacism for the Seattle Seahawks. The words Seattle Seahawks were ... cleverly ... spelled out in something resembling baby blocks, and I remember thinking I was on the cutting edge when I had a background that looked like water! Egads! I spent a lot of time in the KJR Seahawks chat room in those days, and that's where the good ideas spawned. The site grew because YOU gave me suggestions, you made requests, you shared stories and photos and enthusiasm. It would never be what it is today without all the support and encouragement I've received from fellow fans. Thank you so much!

Special thanks to those of you who have been so generous with your time, your gifts, your patience and your friendship. Some of you have sent me newspaper clippings, magazines, photographs, Seahawks trinkets and collectibles in the mail when I hardly even know you. What a warm feeling that is. I treasure each item, no matter how minor you think your generosity to be. Some of you have grown to be dear friends; treasured family. What would I do without you? Thank you so much for who you are.

I've said from the beginning that the Seahawks family is indeed a good family. 10 years later I stand by that statement. Seahawks fans are the best! Go Hawks!
