I admit. I was leery. When my daughter told me she was going to make wassail for Christmas, I thought it would be good, but just good. I didn't think I'd drink it until I almost floated away!!

Wassail is sensational! It's a wonderful, spicy, fragrant, delicious warm beverage - perfect for a cold winter's night!

Put all ingredients into a large saucepan and float orange slices on top. Heat until steaming. Serve in coffee cups with a cinnamon stick in each cup.
