Ring of Honor for Tez

Seahawks Best Plays of the Game
Inducting Cortez Kennedy into the Ring of Honor! Way to go, Tez!!!!!
3rd and 12 in our first series, a 49 yard pass to Darrell Jackson! Sweeet!
Same drive, 8 yard reception to Bobby Engram who showed attitude!
Shaun Alexander's first touchdown that tied Largent's record - 101 career touchdowns
The Sprinkler by Darrell Jackson after his TD!!!
Mack Strong's leap for a 14 yard gain -- I think all the guys should practice yoga!
Every time the fans caused a false start! GO HAWKS!
Mo Morris coming back to help Hasselbeck, then running 27 yards for a 1st down!

Worse Moments in the Game
The off-sides penalty that negated an Arrington fumble caused by DD Jewis on the kickoff.
Defensive pass interference on Ken Hamlin. Grrrr...
The bad snap/hold/kick on the missed field goal.

Improvement over Last Week
Coach Holmgren was wearing a Seahawks shirt this week! (Sorry Sharpclaw, you never convinced me that he had one on last week.)

Surprise of the Game
How much better Kurt Warner looks with stubble than Matt Hasselbeck! :-)

Arizona's Best Play of the Game
The 40 yard burn by Brian Johnson for a touchdown. Ouch.
Fitzgerald's fantastic catch and Warner's great pass under pressure.

Best Commercial
Saints Row video game -- and the ONLY reason I say it's best is because it was so informative that I will NEVER allow my kids to have that game. Don't even get me started...

Most Annoying Commercial
The Diet Pepsi commercial where the pop machine is a player (for 2 weeks running)

What's Up With That?
Shaun Alexander ... what's with sitting there on the ground waiting for help getting up after a tackle?
Matt Hasselbeck heading onto the field without his helmet.

Good luck to...
All the guys who hobbled off the field. It was a tough game...

Best News During the Game
Denver beat Kansas City in overtime!!

After the Fact: Official Watch
Mike Sando with the Tacoma News Tribune reports:

Dockett brought down Seahawks running back Shaun Alexander with an illegal horse-collar tackle, the league determined. Referee Larry Nemmers and his crew did not penalize Dockett on the play. Alexander gained 4 yards on the third-quarter play.

Rolle took down Alexander with a similar tackle on the Seahawks’ opening drive. This play also escaped on-field scrutiny, but the league is reviewing the play and could act next week.
