Just for fun through the 2008 footy season, I'm going to chronicle the seasons of these two players through my own personal opinions listening to the game and via media outlets. Your feedback is welcome!

Regular Season

Round 10 - Sydney 21.13.139 - Richmond 8.9.57

Dreadful. That was simply dreadful. I turned the volume off at half time and just watched the scores update periodically from that point on. Best to put this one far, far behind us.

Brett Deledio - Bad game, but good press from the Richmond club site: Promising performances from Brett Deledio (32 touches, two goals) in the midfield and Trent Cotchin up forward were among the few highlights for the hardy band of travelling Tigers fans.

And then, again from the club site: It was Deledio who stepped up for Richmond in the third term, racking up 12 touches and generating some much needed drive from midfield.

Sportal had this to say: Brett Deledio was the standout performer for the Tigers with a game-high 32 touches and two fourth-quarter goals while Matthew Richardson worked tirelessly for his 17 touches.

Nathan Foley - The Club site gave Foley some kudos late in the game: Foley finally broke free to have some impact through the middle and Deledio kicked a pair of classy goals, but it was far too little, too late for the Tigers, who will be desperate to make amends against Adelaide at the MCG next weekend.

But mostly the news wasn't so good this week for Foley, as the Sportal points out: UNSUNG HERO: Kieran Jack managed a modest 10 touches but the tireless youngster held his own against the more experienced Nathan Foley for the majority of the contest.
