Tiger Faithful Pelic has written a year end review of all the players! Agree? Disagree? Let us know! Your comments are welcome!

Chris Newman - What a disappointment that he broke his leg so severely halfway through the year. I know his numbers were down on previous years but he really looked the goods as we need small running defenders. Hopefully he can get back to it next year and have a productive year.

Darren Gaspar - I was surprised we offered gas a new contract but i can see where wallace is coming from. We really lack key defenders and with Thursfield coming back form a knee reco, and Bowden constantly giving away height to the opposition forwards, there definitely is room for him in the team. I just hope he isn't past it as it would be a shame for him to embarrass himself after a great career.

Brett Deledio - Though he was accused of having an ordinary year compared to last year, i really tend to disagree. Unlike last year he has been tagged when in the middle and has played a lot of the games off the back flank. When he learns to cope well with taggers, watch out, cause he will be a genuine superstar.

Andrew Raines - He has quickly become one of my favourites. It really is great to see him finding gaps between the opposition players and delivering a kick up forward. It was disappointing he didnt win the rising star award but i am sure he will have plenty of awards coming his way in the not too distant future. Watching him kick his first career goal was one of my highlights of the season.

Troy Simmonds - For someone who i thought was average for most of his career, her really stepped up and played some match winning games. His consistency this year was second to none and he was rarely beaten this year. It would be great if he won the best and fairest cause he deserves to be rewarded in turning into a player who can take us to great things.

Mark Chaffey - Its a real pity that chaf is retired but i saw that coming a while ago. Not much you can say except thanks for the effort. I'm sure in years to come he will be remembered as a decent player who gave his all.

Nathan Brown - What a real shame for the whole football world that we missed the best years of this guys career to injury. If the start of last year was a guide we watched a superstar sit on the sidelines far too often. I cant imagine him ever reproducing that form but it does warm the heart to think he will be up in our forward line for a few years.

Thomas Roach - After he broke his jaw in round 3 i had a feeling it was the end of him but only time will tell if he stays on the list.

Greg Stafford - Another of my favourites. It was sad to see him leave but i guess for Richmond to move forward, he had to go. It was great to see him kick the last goal in round 22. It sure brought a tear to my eye. I will remember him for the night when in queensland he was signing autographs and a little kid who came up to his knee caps was standing there and couldn't grab his attention. Someone told him to look down and he boomed out "hey little fella, i didn't see you down there".

Joel Bowden - I cant believe how much criticism Bowdo cops. He is in the elite players of the league and deserves to be. Everyone has a shot at him but all I say to them is "i dont see you out there getting a kick so shut up". When we have our defence at full strength and he doesn't have to take on a key forward then we will all see just how damaging he is.

Matthew Richardson - In the same boat as Bowden as far as criticism goes. In a day and age where everyone bemoans the fact the footy is too uncontested, they all still have a go at Richo. If he had played for Essendon or some team that had a lot more success than us, he would be considered an all time great. When he makes a permanent move to the goalsquare, dont be surprised if he reaches a hundred goal season.

Trent Knobel - i think it is lucky for him the Staf retired otherwise i believe he may have been on the outer, and still might be. I really cant see him getting many more games unless he learns how to find the ball in general play like simmonds does.

Dean Polo - Here is a kid with a real future. I dont think he played a bad game this year. It was unlucky for him to have such a brilliant debut because his games will always be compared to that game (just ask Andrew Walker). He appears to be one of those all round players who can play anywhere (except the ruck of course). Looking forward to seeing more of him as he develops.

Kayne Pettifer - Considering he was once my biggest whipping boy, along with Clinton King, Pettifer has become one of those players who consistently plays well. His numbers are all up on last year and his impact on games has gone through the roof. Its great to see considering he was balancing on the edge of being axed.

Patrick Bowden - Another player to make the quantum leap from being an ordinary player to being a star. He has come from not getting a regular game at the dogs to being second in the league for marks. Not a bad effort. How good was his first quarter against Brisbane. It was sensational.

Kane Johnson - You have to love johnson. Does his job at an outstanding level and with a minimum of fuss and hullabulloo. It is worthwile mentioning that even though it is great he shuts out the best midfielder week in week out, he still gets plenty of the ball himself, something that makes a good tagger, a fantastic tagger.

David Rodan - He will be lucky to keep his place on the list. Its a pity as he was a real dynamite player but i believe he was sometimes too fast for his own good. He seems to be faster than the ball and too often the ball would be left behind.

Dean Limbach - Dont know much except he was kicking bags of goals in the VFL reserves and the got promoted to the seniors where he wasn't out of place. It wouldn't surprise me if he plays next year.

Ray Hall - Not the best of years for Hall but i believe he is also a victim of out lack of key defenders. I have always believed that he would best be suited to a forward ruckman role, as he has the strength and endurance to do both jobs.

Shane Tuck - Tucky put in another solid season and even though it wasnt as good as last year, it sure was servicable. It is good to see him kick a few goals and if he could aim for one a game, that would be a job well done

Danny Meyer - Didnt see too much of him this year but i believe he will be a real good player. He has that pace and ability to mark and kick goals that gives us a great mixture of younger players

Daniel Jackson - After starting the season playing as a small leading forward, he tapered off (i think through injury) and never really got back nto it. it will be interesting to see wallaces plans with him, given that we need to make room for this years draft picks

Mark Coughlan - This guy has no luck. After fighting of osteitos pubis he has to cop a knee reconstruction. We really need him in there getting the hard ball and tackling like a man possessed. Hopefully he can have a decent year though i am not expecting too much till he fully recovers

Jay Schulz - I dont know if anyone else noticed but he seemed to kick all his goals early and then go missing. Amazing to think he is only twenty one and in the next few years will be entering the prime of his career. I think he will be the one to take over from Richo as he has good athleticism and can kick goals

Adam Pattison - I reckon he would make a good ruckman in the mould of and Adam Goodes. He seems very versatile and showed this year on occasions why he was selected first round in the draft.

Andrew Krakouer - If he could become consistant, he would be a far more dangerous player. Instead of having seven ordinary games and one ripper, it would be great if he had eight good games.

Jarrod Oakley-Nichols - He showed his famous pace a few times this year and it will be good to see how he goes in the next couple of years.

Richard Tambling - Starting to show why he was selected so highly in the draft. He needs to do the same as Krakouer needs to and if he does, we have an electrifying player on our hands

Chris Hyde - He is one of those players who just doesn't get noticed no matter how much of the ball he has had. His four goal haul may have set expectations too high as far as his forward play goes but it is good to see him taking the game on now.

Greg Tivendale - He started the season on fire and the tapered off again. The good thing about him is he is a tackler and it is something that we need. I just wish he would kick the bloody ball instead of running running running.... and the handballing.

Brent Hartigan - Dunno if he will be on the list next year but i am sure we can make something of him. He appears to have a fierce determination and i hope that we keep him cause its great to have players who rely on that instead of natural (and often wasted) talent.

Cleve Hughes - In the few games he played he did ok for a first year player but he ended the year in the VFL reserves which isnt the best thing to do. Still you cant judge him on his first year and a lot of rookies tend to burn out by the end of the season

Matthew White - A player who loves to take the game on and though he often got caught out this year, he will get better as he gets more experience.

Will Thursfield - did a fantastic job on Riewoldt in round 2 and then copped the dreaded knee reconstruction. A fantastic replacement for Gasper when he finally hangs up the boots.

Travis Casserly - i dont know much about his season.

Luke McGuane - Had the hard task of playing on Michael O'Loughlin in his first game and then only got one more game after that. Hard to see where he is at.

Andrew Kellaway - The most disappointing thing of the season by far. He is one of my absolute favourites and always will. I was shattered when i heard he wasn't going to play for us anymore. I sincerely hope that he plays again and whoever it is for that they win the premiership, because he is one player that deserves it if no one else does. The most couragous player i have ever seen and everything a footballer should be.

Kelvin Moore - Only played a couple of games this year and could be one to make way for this years draft picks

Nathan Foley - This kid would throw himself into a pack of hungry lions if there was a footy amongst them. He is going to be a gun, though i dont think he will be a player who gets much publicity. For a second year player to make so many tackles, it shows to the type of player he is and will become. I look forward to seeing him spend a lot more time on the ground

Angus Graham - Probably wont get retained on the rookie list but you never know

Cameron Howat - Good find. Has pace to burn and can find heaps of the footy. Definitely should get the senior list promotion.

Jeremy Humm - One game this year which was against his old club and he got murdered by Chad Fletcher. Hard to see him being retained and he is too old for the rookie list next year.
