But more importantly, Aussie Chris is back with a feature all season long called the Rising Star report! I have decided to follow the careers of two footy players throughout 2008, Brett Deledio and Nathan Foley. You can find those reports by clicking the link to each game located here.

This site will be undergoing transformations in 2008 as I put a little more love and effort into maintaining it! I started the site back in 2003 and I had grand plans to build it up over time like I have my Seahawks website. You know the saying about the best laid plans... (You don't? The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry. Yeah, see, I knew you knew it!)

Like everyone else, I got busy. I ran out of time. I put this site on the back burner and ran off to tend to more pressing matters. Australian Chris Greenway came to my rescue. If not for his gallant efforts at adding content, I'm afraid this would have been quite dismal over the past couple of years.

This year I'm making a renewed commitment to the site! After last season, we Tiger Faithful need a lift! We need a cause! We need a breath of fresh air! (Some more goals and a victory or two wouldn't hurt either!)

I'm going to pick a couple of players to follow this season as I did several years ago. I'm going to work on the quirky side of the site. I'm going to follow through on some promises I made in prior years to build this site up. I'm going to put on my Yellow and Black and barrack for our boys! I'm pumped and ready to go for the new season!

We'll start small with the Quirky page. It's for my fellow Americans who get that baffled look when they start listening to an AFL audio broadcast! I'll update this page as I add new content. As I've reformatted some older stuff, I'm struck by what good reading it is in retrospect, particularly player reviews. You might want a look!
