Sept. 29, 2007 - San Francisco, CA
After we dropped her off we came back to the hotel. When I put the day in writing it doesn't sound like much, but it was an incredibly full day. We walked 15,000+ steps today, the highest so far. I'm tired. Good night, Diary.

We won! We won!! What a GREAT game in San Francisco!!!

We awoke this morning and headed out for breakfast before the game. Had a lively one, as a homeless man tried to get served and when they didn't serve him, he threw quite a wobbly. He had been sitting at the table making silly faces, talking to himself, being very ... different. He was still there when we left, making his case to the cashiers and anyone else willing to listen. I've not had that much experience with homeless so it's an eye-opener to me. I’m sure I failed to mention last night that the young lady we met up with for dinner gave the leftovers from our meal to a homeless man on the street. I thought it was very kind of her, seeing as how she could probably use them as much as him. I figure anyone who is willing to take leftovers from strangers is probably pretty hungry. We saw two elderly ladies open their pocketbooks to give money ($6.00)
to a homeless man right outside the restaurant. I was just sure they'd get mugged
but no, he gratefully took the money and gave them both a big hug.
