Richmond V Hawthorn Rd6 2004 Friday 30/04/2004 TD (N)

Well the Crystal Ball has shut down in protest over Richmond's performances the last few weeks and I can't get a thing out of it.

The CB's tantrums aside I don't need it to predict this week's result. Many people are saying that Richmond can't sink any lower than the embarassment that was last week's game against Adelaide. Obviously they haven't been following the Tigers as long as I have. Richmond can and will get much worse than last week. I wouldn't be at all surprised if our win loss sheet reads 1 21 at the end of the season.

The Hawks are struggling too, but they are at least competitive, which is something Richmond have not been for a few weeks now.

There is talk that a few big names will be dropped to jolt them back to earth, but that won't make much of an effect. They weren't performing so their loss won't be noticed, but you can't expect kids and hardworkers who are light on for ability to drag Richmond out of the mire it is currently in.
